I have to admit that before I have researched about the state of economy in the Philippines, I look into our country as something that would just be mere commensal of the ASEAN integration. For me, that vision of economic integration that has a target of accomplishment by the year 2025 is an impossibility in all of the available context. Well I mean, I always envision our country as struggling to survive as that what the mainstream media would always present to people. Biased journalism perhaps. I used to be one of the keen critiques who are critical thinkers when it comes to seeing the government in ts economic capability.

Philippines getting stronger from being “a sick man of Asia”

But after doing my own research, It is for a fact that Philippines rightfully deserves to be called as the Asia’s Rising Tiger Economy! Some people may say that we are never really anywhere near it yet or it is just a part of the stint of the current administration or other stuffs. But believe me people, we are working our way to the top. A lot of things may still need some furnishing and improvement, we may not be a step away from it but we are getting there, we just have to keep the faith.

One thing I have realized as I am typing this is that, Development and Success is just matter of perspective. You’ll feel it if you want to, You’ll have it if you choose to, and you’ll see it because you opted to.

Stay positive, my fellow countrymen! With patience and perseverance, we’ll get there in time.
